Review Summary: The education you didn't get in public school Date: 2009-01-09

Details: Written by one of the original pro-American, pro-capitalist, pro-freedom patriots, The 5000 Year Leap will read like alien literature to today's gov't school graduate. The American Constitution is treated with the respect and in-depth analysis it deserves and which is no longer allowed to be taught in modern history or civics classes. The reader will discover why today's federal gov't is, and will always be, the creator of our social and economic problems, never the answer. A must read for anyone confused as to why the American dream is morphing into America's nightmare.

Details: The Constitution is about us and our liberties, not the government, the corporations, or the lobbyists.

Review Summary: Constitution by a Thread Date: 2008-12-20

Details: Every self proclaimed American from first grade to the age of 100 needs to read this book. I majored in Constitutional issues in college and none of the material described in this book was ever taught. America was founded on Judeao-Christian beliefs and this book emphasis what you weren't taught in American schools.

Review Summary: I love this book Date: 2008-12-19

Details: When I realized that my public school education created an ignorant citizen (me), I decided to start reading and studying the constitution. This was the book I read after the "Federalist Papers". It is wonderful in explaining the principals behind what is in the constitution. Everything is so clear now- it's not a big mystery that the powers that be try to make it out to be. It is clear, and easy to read and even questions the 17th Amendment. I think it's important to know what's in the constitution, why it's there, what are the amendments, and how the powers that be have helped us stay ignorant so we don't fix things. But with this book, we know what the original intent was. It also doesn't matter if you are Republican, Democrat, or 3rd party. The info is principals that EVERYONE understands and can agree on. How many books out there are like that?! If you only read one book this year, it's this one.
