Description: The book that started the phenomenon is now available in a deluxe collector's edition! Featuring a ribbon bookmark, cloth cover, ragged edges, new chapter opener designs, and a beautiful protective slipcase, this edition is perfect for fans and collectors alike.

Bella Swan's move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Bella's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. Up until now, Edward has managed to keep his vampire identity a secret in the small community he lives in, but now nobody is safe, especially Bella, the person Edward holds most dear.

Deeply romantic and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight captures the struggle between defying our instincts and satisfying our desires. This is a love story with bite.

Review Summary: Bad writing, so why can't I put it down? Date: 2009-01-10

Details: Okay - I am picky about good writing, and this is not it. But somehow, it's a real page turner. I read this because I have a 13yo son, and all the kids are talking about the books and reading them. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did! The storyline is very teenage-angst. But it's fun for this mom to imagine myself as Bella. Too bad there was no cute vampire admiring my awkwardness back in the day.

Review Summary: Loved it! Date: 2009-01-10

Details: Alright. I was given this book. I was skeptical. I did not expect to like it.
Well, to my slight embarrassment - I LOVED it!
Sure, it's teens in love - but this a VAMPIRE and a teen in love!
At times I felt silly at how much I enjoyed the syrupy sweet sentiments and over-the-top emotions. But not everything you read has to be WAR & PEACE.
No, this book won't change your life but it will give you something fun to read (and now that it's paperback) for a very reasonable price.
And yes, I have already ordered the 2nd book in the series.
Live a little and add some Twilight to your life.

Review Summary: A Must Have on Your Shelf Date: 2009-01-10

Details: I absolutely loved this book, and the whole series. I am now finishing Breaking Dawn, and listening to Twilight again on Audio. The love story between Edward and Bella is magical, and there were times I found myself not breathing as I read! This will be a book, and series, that I read over and over again all of my life.

Review Summary: pretty good book.. but lacking Date: 2009-01-10

Details: the night i borrowed this book from my neighbor i started reading it and finished it the next day. i liked it, i got lost in it and i couldn't put it down. isabella swann ( beautiful name), is 17 and she has moved to forks so her mother can be with her new husband. she falls in love with edward, who is a vampire. edward is beautiful and he sparkles. we get that and other verbs describing how perfect he is, but what is missing is bella's personality. what are her goals? what is her talent? can't she at least have some self-esteem? what makes edward fall in love with her? what is it about her other then her blood? some of things in the book are not based on facts. first of all, vampires cannot come out in the day, they don't sparkle, etc. some of the things in this book was unrealistic, but it is a fantasy. if you like damsels in distress, vampires and fantasy. you might like this book.
