Description: The story in this book is incredible but true. It is about secret societies, how they have directed the course of civilization, and how they influence your life today. Most people don't realize they exist because their minds have been conditioned to reject any thought of such organizations. In this book, Dr. Monteith reveals the amazing facts he discovered in his almost 40 years of research. He reveals the identity of the mysterious forces behind the men who rule the world, and why some of our leaders have dedicated their lives to destroying our nation. After reading "Brotherhood of Darkness," you will never look at the world the same way again.

Review Summary: Outsider's view of the Inside. Date: 2008-09-17

Details: Reading Stanley Monteith's "Brotherhood of Darkness" is a voyage into the world of a powerful and anonymous clique which is closed to outsiders--i.e., the overwhelming majority of humanity. Dr. Monteith, you and I are all outsiders and this book is a service to each and every one of us.
Till recently, cynics could have called the book's conclusions mere scaremongering and conspiracy paranoia. (Mind you, they would have to ignore all the thorough research, hard facts, evidence and stated quotes along the way.) But they can hardly call the conclusions conspiracy or paranoia now. With the swift and mighty collapse of Lehman Brothers and all the other financial powerhouses swaying in the aftershocks, it's as if the members of this Curia of Darkness had personally handed Dr Monteith their detailed plans and supervised the writing of his book!
For anyone interested in the history and working of international banking, globalist politics, and secret societies, this is your book.
I have read a fair bit on those subjects and have found most to be wanting. But "Brotherhood of Darkness" led me into historical areas and personages I would never have suspected would be connected with deception and subterfuge. I would have laughed to scorn the idea of those I once considered altruists--like John Ruskin and Cecil Rhodes--being part of an international conspiracy. At least I did until I read this insightful book.
The proof of the conclusions is now all around us. As we now have Dr Monteith's "prophetic" statements unfolding day by day, it is now much easier to trace them back to their sources. The astonishing thing about this book is that the sources and the conclusions were given before the present Wall Street earthquake. The sceptics and cynics can only doubt or scoff against what is no longer speculation but now history.
I have read this book twice and flicked through it over and over. I have also purchased copies to give to friends. I'm glad I passed it around prior to the banking disaster.
Now Stanley Monteith would be able to sum up his book in four words. "I told you so."

Review Summary: The end justified the means. Date: 2008-08-12

Details: I gave this book three stars because the end justified the means. This book was not well written and was repetitive. It seemed to basically list the big players in secret societies. I was looking for a book that was a little more in-depth. I don't agree with the review that states the source of their drive being satanic is dumb. I can't tell you how many books I've read on the topic, some of which were thrown out of publication. The fact of the matter is all of these families have a long history of occult practice. I don't think it's so hard to believe that worshipping Lucifer is an ancient religion and to me it makes logical sense that at some point they were forced underground. The 13 bloodlines of the Illuminati covers the family lineage of the power brokers of today. It's quite enlightening. Also take the time to watch Alex Jones Bohemia Grove, that'll blow your mind if you think the ruling class in this country is not steeped in the Occult. Unfortunately you can not be a Christian and worship Molech, so which is it?? I think most of the politicians who claim to be Christians yet are present at Bohemia Grove each year are clearly pagans but are out to pit one religion against another. What a web of deceit. I'm looking for a good book on Hegelism since that is the philisophical structure that the U.S. was built on.

Review Summary: Fluff Date: 2007-04-18

Details: There isn't much information to be gleaned from the book that couldn't all have been covered in one chapter. The author pads the book with MULTIPLE REPITITIONS of the same information. It is SO POORLY WRITTEN that anyone reading it will tend not to believe the little information presented because the author loses all credibility.

If you are looking for answers to the rapid cultural, political, and economic changes in the USA and around the world, I recommend Ted Flynn's "Hope of the Wicked" subtitled "The master Plan to Rule the World". Click on my ID and read my review of same.
