Details: It's unfortunate that many of Kirban's books are either out-of-print or hard to get. Many Christians familiar with Grant Jeffrey or Hal Lindsey would find much familar ground in Kirban's works. A born-again Arab, Kirban uses many examples from the Bible and then explains what they mean to us today. "Guide to Survival" mostly concerns Revelation. Kirban takes us down the road showing the prophecies that tell us how the world will end and in what order. Yes, there's quite a bit about the Rapture here, and the time just before the Rapture, as well as a lot of material about what remains left undone for those "Left Behind". The pictures available in the trade paperback edition help emphasize the warnings that Kirban gives to all of us. If you like the "Left Behind" books and want to understand how they really can occur, then I can recommend almost no better writer to start with than Salem Kirban.
