Details: You may not get through this book, and it isn't because it isn't good. It's simply that Jesus might return first. As I read it, I kept thinking the Lord would come before I could turn the next page. Why? Because David Jeremiah has done such an awesome job connecting current world events with biblical prophecy.
He treats prophetically relevant events such as Israel's persecution and becoming a nation, oil and the rise of arab nations who possess it, and modern Europe's resemblance to ancient Rome with such such well researched and compelling language that you can't help but believe Jesus is well on His way.
Jeremiah is careful never to make predictions or to come across as a mere alarmist, but He holds nothing back when pressing the appeal for people to make a definite decision about faith in light of the evidence he presents. I highly recommend you grab this book quickly.

Details: Dr. Jeremiah lays the foundation by explaining history behind Israel, a little history of Europe and Rome and then a little on Islamic Terrorists. In the section titled Does America Have a Role In Prophecy he addreses the apparant lack of the US in biblical prophecy.
In a clear manner the author uses scripture and studies to help folks understand the elements/players/strategies and outcome of the end of the world as we know it.
One of the best things about this book, and probably what sets it apart from others in my eyes, is that he writes with hope and love, leaving us not to cringe and despair but to be filled with peace and hope.
