Details: This is weird. The people who place The Rapture down are those who most likely will stay behind. Everything pretty much is in the Bible, about Our Lord Coming Back to Earth and Ruling it forever, but the 7 year Tribulation has to take into effect. Before the tribulation happening, believers in Christ will picked up by Christ Himself...we will disappear from this planet and Join Christ Himself in the Sky. Everything is in the Bible. But great thing Hal Breaks everything down in plain English for all, but still i cannot believe the people on here who don't believe. Get Right with Christ, so we all can be picked up. Get this book and know what the Rapture means, and its significance. Know the truth, and it will set you free. The Rapture is a special plan by God in order to pick up all Christ believers before the antichrist comes onto the world scene. Well, who is the antichrist? He will be the devil himself, but he will be in the flesh, he will be a man with great powers. This antichrist will bring in the mark of the beast into the picture and he will persuade many to take up that mark. Anyone taking the mark will be casted into hell on judgement day. Save yourself, believe in Christ the Son of God, so you can be Raptured (picked up) before the tribulation period initiates. Book highly recommended. Many unbelievers will stay behind, don't chose that fate. Get this book and see the light, embrace the light, and follow the light.
Christianity is the way in order for one to have Salvation. But those who sell religion our who use religion to plaster people will stay behind, and will not be picked up. Hal's work is no joke. The antichrist is alive, he is in Europe, yes right now, in 2005...waiting in the wings! Believe in Christ. |

Details: What happened to the Dirty Commies who were gonna end it all, Hal-Baby?
As a Buddhist, I REALLY, REALLY TRY to have a live and let live approach to others' faith - I'd rather look for the ideas we have in common than engage in a theological slamfest. BUT...
The entire "End Times" theology is a never-ending joke rehashed during every difficult period of western civilization over the last 1,000 years at least, and the fact that those who promote it seem intent on doing everything they can to bring it about is scary as all get-up. I really feel sorry for people who see their only means of salvation in the destruction of the world and the Billions of lives lost inherent in that proposition.
Oh, I forgot...we don't have a CHOICE in this matter. Yeah, right, and the Jews are The Chosen People - just ask 'em!!!
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!
Gotta run now, and go try to make this world a better place to live.

Details: Revelation is the only book in the Bible that specifically promises the reader a special blessing for reading it.. (at the end). The problem is, a straight read through of Revelation can be confusing at best, because it is written in symbolic language. The Rapture is BY FAR the best book I've ever read for decoding this language; it walks you through the entire book of Revelation step by step, and presents the background, supporting logic, and meanings for the mysteries you encounter in this most difficult book. In subjects where there are honest differences of opinion, Hal presents both sides of the argument, and provides his take on the pros and cons of each. It is a balanced, clear and thought provoking work, well worth your time whether you are a believer or not. |

Details: People, ole Hal Lindsey predicted the world would end in the early 80's in "Late Great Planet Earth," did it? How many more times has he predicted it since then? has it? Where ole Hal is conscerned meditate on Matt 7:21-22, Mark 13:22,1 John 4:1 etc. This is a teaching popular among Evangelical Protestants and asserts that Christians will be miraculaously delivered from the tribulation and that only the "unsaved" will suffer under the rule of the Antichrist. The idea that Christians will be "raptured"-that is, taken up into heaven-before the tribulation is an invention of the ninteenth century. No one in the previous 1800 yrs. of Christian history ever came up with such a notion...Anyone that likes a book like this needs to read (Matthew 25:13) |

Details: I read this book for the first time in 1986 and, because I had passed it on, had to buy it again in order to re-read it. I find Hal Lindsey's information to be very balanced and Scripturally correct. In our world today, we as Christians wonder if we are fast approaching the rapture, and Mr. Lindsey's book is a good guide to discerning the times while awaiting the hope of our Lord. The book may be 20 years old, but it's value endures. I highly recommend this book if you are truly searching for the signs of the end. |
