Description: Western Christians often despair of finding meaning in the paradoxical statement that God is both "One" and "Three". The problem, says Jung Young Lee, is not with the doctrine of the Trinity itself; rather, it is with the Western conceptual tendency to view reality in exclusive, "either/or" terms. The Trinity is at its heart an inclusive doctrine of one God who is nonetheless three distinct persons. In order to grasp this fact, we need different conceptual categories, not only with which to view God, but all of reality. The Asian philosophical construct of yin and yang can offer a way out of this problem, with its inherently "both/and" way of thinking. Drawing on a variety of East Asian religious traditions, Lee offers a creative reinterpretation of this central Christian doctrine. He shows how a global perspective can illuminate Western theological constructs as he establishes the necessity of a contextual approach to the doctrine of the Trinity.

Description: In a rare volume, Barth presents his lecture on "The Holy Spirit and the Christian Life," in which he insists there is no way to get behind or beyond the fact that God is revealed to us in three distinct ways, yet with a unity that cannot be divided.

Description: Are you ready for the revival you've been praying for? Keep Coming, Holy Spirit is a groundbreaking book that answers the important questions about revival that are being asked. It openly addresses doubts and concerns such as "Is revival so much emotionalism or even deception?" and "Are there criteria for obtaining revival?" With biblical insight, examples from Church history, and engaging firsthand accounts, Melinda Fish, editor of Spread the Fire magazine, helps you sift through the recent manifestations and distinguish between a true move of God and man-made programs. You will discover, too, why revivals lose momentum and what you can do to guard and nurture God's transforming presence.

Description: Growing in Christ is a thrilling adventure! It's neither our activity nor the Holy Spirit's activity alone, but a partnership-our responding to and allowing God's Spirit to lead us and empower us. Paul writes, "I labor, struggling with all His energy, which so powerfully works in me" (Col. 1:29).
As the energizer of your faith, the Holy Spirit wants to bring you into a transforming relationship with the Father. He wants to empower you to live an obedient, God-honoring life.
Your part? Yield to Him. Allow God's Spirit to lead you and strengthen you and transform you. Your life will never be the same after you yield fully to Him!
With so many different views on the work of the Holy Spirit today, Dr. Jack Cottrell has written a clear and succinct study of what the Bible teaches concerning God's Spirit. In ten concise chapters, the reader will be guided through Scripture after Scripture as Dr. Cottrell removes decades of misconceptions and provides us with a clear understanding of what the Bible actually says.
This new resource is designed for personal or group study. A study guide with discussion questions is included at the back of the book. May this study help you reflect the pwoer and presence of the Holy Spirit!

Description: In his book, Charismatic Challenge: Four Key Questions, John Napier demonstrates biblically, reasonably, and with sound scholarship that the sign and revelatory gifts are not for today. Yet, he holds firmly to the conviction that our God is still a miracle-working God!
