Review Summary: Sad and divisive Date: 2008-12-28

Details: A book for someone with the emotional maturity of an 8-year-old. This so-called incorrect guide holds back its conspiracy ranting till the second half. There are sufficient facts presented that the book may be worth a tenth of its price, but you may get a headache weeding through the propaganda. Said spin is quite sophisticated, taking the form of debunking the PC opinions that the author says you have. Eventually you will come to understand that the Politically Correct comprise a monumental conspiracy holding - surprise, suprise - any opinion about the subject that the author disagrees with. Ultimately the book is as much about the righteousness of some other religion, but that idea backfires to the point that the underlying message is that all religions are pernicious. The book is divisive, war-mongering, and retro. Whether it is true or not isn't especially relevant simply because the human race will never progress or overcome while our thoughts are guided by children.

Review Summary: If you are a bigot, you will love this book. Date: 2008-12-24

Details: If you are a racist or a bigot, then this book is for you.

However, if you are NOT an intolerant xenophobe, then you should make sure you do not even touch this book with a ten foot pole.

Reading this book to learn about Islam is equivalent to looking to Timothy McVeigh for more information about Christianity.

This book is an attempt to distort a faith and its followers in a way that makes it seem as if there is a 90% chance your neighbor "Ahmed" is a bloodthirsty terrorist waiting for the right moment to kill you and your family.

Spencer's reprehensible book is riddled with factual inaccuracies, and to put it in layman's terms: it is plain, flat-out WRONG.

Do yourself a favor: stay away from this book. If you really want to learn about a religion, what is the logical thing to do? Look at the scripture of that religion. If you wanted to learn about Christianity, you would read the Bible.

Bottom line: If you want to learn about Islam, this is not the book for you. Buy a Quran with an english translation (if that is your native tongue). I recommend the Yusuf Ali translation: The Holy Qur'an Or you can just google for Quran and find an online, free copy. There you go; after 5 minutes of reading the Quran, you will know more about Islam than after 50 hours of reading and reviewing Spencer's book.

Review Summary: ACCURATE history of the Crusades! What a relief! Date: 2008-12-15

Details: This book is incredibly helpful! Amidst allegations of America's role in inciting anti-western civilization jihad actions against our country, I find this book a timely God-send in refuting erroneous claims of anti-Western Civilization historical influences and actions against the rest of the world. A definite must-read for anyone interested in the TRUTH of the crusades, the crusaders' reasons for defending western civilization from zealous and mainstream islamic militancy, and the alleged "peaceful religion and acceptance of all religions" Islamists/Muslims and the liberal media so frequently espouse of Islam. LET FREEDOM RING!!!!!

Review Summary: Buy Copies for Your Family and Friends Date: 2008-12-10

Details: This book is a must-read for every American and European. Well-written and well-documented, this book illuminates the current events in the news and shows the historical context of the current strife in the Middle East. I am buying several copies for friends and family, and recommend that you do the same.

Review Summary: The PC masses cringe at the ugly truth Date: 2008-12-01

Details: This is a great book. In short, it shines light on a subject few know anything about. Those who would deny Islam's roots and history are bound to suffer the consequences. A well researched book, with many good comparisons between Islam and Christianity.
