Details: When I was an atheist, I figured evolution was a radical new (and well proven) discovery of modern science. Then I read this brilliant book. I learned that it's an idea that has been around practically since the beginning of time. I also learned it's been foundational to just about every ugly thing that man has ever done to man, especially in the 20th century. Dr. Morris left his earthly tent behind in early 2006; I can't wait to thank him for this book especially. |

Details: I was very disappointed by this book. Firstly, it meanders through various subjects, such as evolutionary theory and creationism, but it never truly touches on, what I feel, is the larger, mor important aspect on this "war on God." That, of course being what, if any, are God's tactics and/or special attacks. How am I, as a street fighter, supposed to prepare for war against an omniscient being when I know nothing about what moves to expect? Is he the close-quarters, quick attacking sort, or does he have ranged attacks(see "Haiduken")? I just can't recommend this book for anyone facing the challenge that the Almighty presents. |

Review Summary: A profound, must read for all people |

Details: This is one of the most profound books I have ever read. It gives an all-encompassing perspective on the origins and pervasive effects of this strategic battle, and how it has strongly affected almost every discipline and area of our lives. It is also exhaustively referenced, for those who want further information in a given area. This book will receive some unjustified negative reviews for those who hate the clarity and documented proof of it's findings, but don't listen, get the book now and buy extra for your loved ones as well! |

Review Summary: Impact of evolutionary belief throughout the ages |

Details: How evolutionary thought came in to being from day one (before Darwin) and it's progression throughout the ages. Is it a true science, or cunningly devised? Morris says yes to latter. Is it the cause of our wars and other ills? Morris says yes. Is there a way to meld evolution (Macro) with creation? Morris says no. A wonderfully thought provoking book. |

Details: If you are a little confused about creation/evolution issues, this book is a good starting point. It covers all of the major issues and does so in a way that is easy to read, convincing, and very helpful. I highly recommend it. |
