Details: I'm sorry Young-Earth Creationists---there's an extremely strong case for transphylogenic evolution. You people are so elementary in thinking and as a result, you put God into a box and thus atheists are immediately turned off by Christianity. If you would take the time to read the Torah in Hebrew, you'd see that there are evidences of evolution, ie. "Let the Earth bring forth" (translation) among other words and phrases that suggest the process. Besides, the creation account in Genesis is allegorical. If Moses taught the Jews that once there was this bacteria that evolved into different creatures, they would have laughed at him. This does not mean that the Torah is uninspired. But instead of automatically dismissing the Theistic Evolution and Day-Age theories, read about them, analyze them, see for yourself. I am telling you they are valid theories. Besides, Christianity can be proven factual even if you don't go into detail about creation. Fellow Christians, use your heads: they may be fallible, but that doesn't mean you have to be gullible. |
