Details: I am going through this study right now and although I love the book and the things it brings up, I feel that the study guide is essential for making it apply to you and your situation. The study guide does not take too long to go through for each chapter so I enjoy it a lot more than studies with hour long homework. The verses are good that the study guide points out and actually help bring out more area's that you may not have originally thought about. |

Details: I loved this study! It will chsnge your thought life for the better from the very first chapter. Easy to read and very practical. It can be for personal or group study. I bought one for my sister, my daughter and my son and will recommend it to anybody dealing with fear, anxiety, worry, etc. |

Details: This is a life transforming book if you apply it ;-). Really helped me to see how to deal with depression and how important setting your mind on things that are true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, of good repute, whatever has excellence whatever is worthy of praise---these are the filters for our minds. |

Details: This is a timely book dealing with the battle we all face in our minds of where our focus is, what the truth is, and dealing with reality as it really is, both earthly and heavenly. It is refreshingly practical and guides the reader to take a good look at the truth of the past, present, and future. Having just completed a women's Bible class using this book, the only criticism is that there was too much looking at us, not enough at God. We do need to recognize the reality of our own lives, especially to be able to find freedom, but if we are to love Him with all our minds and see the beauty of walking each day with Him, I found the focus not to be quite as consistently upward as most of her other books. |

Details: I love this book! Elizabeth George does a great job of teaching how to love God. Here's a quote from the book: "We need to sail on as we look ahead and reach forward toward spiritual maturity and the goal of loving God with all our mind. As we focus on God, He will guide our steps, empower our service to Him, and work in us the characteristics of Christ as He enables us to both meet the demands of the present and press on toward the prize. This is a great book and it has study questions in the back for each chapter. |
