Wow! Most of this information I sort of knew, but because I never heard anyone else affirm the data exposed in this excellent book, I have only presented the questions and looked at blank faces! Mr. Heron, you are right on the mark, meaning to those who don't know the expression, "that you shot the arrow right on the mark or bullseye".
This book revived in me, my heart, and confidence that I know what I know, and I see what I see, and that the simple truth is right there in front of us. I do have faith again that God didn't leave us just hanging on our own. And I do have the ability to believe again. (This is no small feat, because most people are pretentious regardless of what you say or claim you believe or the sect that you follow). This is scary stuff here folks! But as an attorney once told me, "Always tell the truth! The stories are so much more amazing than any lie can be, and so much better!".
People, have a little faith. Look and ask a little deeper. Don't doubt your own senses. READ this book, and ask the questions that are in your heart. Respectfully yours, Daniel

Details: Patrick Heron purports to give his take on the biblical giants (Nephlilm) of Genesis 6, their contribution to ancient monuments on the earth and their place in the End Times. He doesn't really pull it off. The first half of the book is pretty solid. He tells the story of the fallen angels of Genesis 6 and the recurrence of giants/Nephilim throughout the Bible. He attempts to correlate the angels with the signs of the Zodiac, but falls on shaky ground. He also relates the book of Enoch, which also talks about fallen angels like Genesis 6. Then halfway through the book, he switches focus and begins to talk about his interpretation of the book of Revelation. These chapters, as noted by the author himself, were previously published in his earlier book, "Apocalypse 2000." The few updates he mentions do very little, if anything, to link the Nephilim with his ideas of Revelation. It seems as though he just tacked the second half of the book on to make it longer. The next to last chapter finally returns back to the Nephilim and brings up his idea of "the pyramid of the Apocalypse." If he had just stuck with the thread of the first half of his book, I would have rated this much higher. I would check this out at the library before buying. |

Details: I was hoping for some more information on the latest Nephilim theories with this book. What I found was a guide to the Bible's quotations concerning the Nephilim and a creationist's limited view on the subject. In other words, all I got was a review of what I already knew as a 4th grader in Catholic school. Very disappointing. |
