Review Summary: Good explanation of premillennalism/pretribulationism |

Details: This book explains and defends the premillennial, pretribulationalist view of the end times, but also briefly presents the other views. While I don't share Hitchcock's belief in the end times and he doens't convince me, he does a good job of explaining this popular interpretation of prophecy.
On the down side, he tends to repeat himself quite often and as in much end times literature, there's a thinly veiled schadenfreude against those who will be left behind ("The tribulation will be the worst time to live in human history. How much better to ask Jesus into your heart now and watch it all from heaven!" (p. 167) what a show it will be, bring the popcorn!) But the book's biggest flaw is that there's no index or any full list of all the 101 questions, although the book is divided into chapters.
Overall, a good introduction for those who want to learn about the pretribulationist view of the end times. |

Details: but many authors have trouble putting into terms that the everyday non-Bible Scholar can understand with ease. Mark Hitchcock does just that. If you've asked it, it's probably in here. Hitchcock provides a Biblical basis for every provided answer, and has you more excited about the rapture by the time you reach the final pages than you have been before! Highly recommended. |

Review Summary: the greatest endime book of all times |

Details: This would be the greatest endtime book of all times. Mark Hitchcock goes to great lengths to inform the readers about the endtimes. He has given much time in prayer and research to provide all sources of idea's and other points of view. I began to read this book and before long I found myself marking it and taking notes. It pages are filled with so much wisdom. As a minister of a diffrent demonination I had a couple minor things I did not agree with. However, this did not stop me from reading this amazing book. I would recommend everyone who reads this review to buy the book and share it with loved ones. "he that hath an ear, let him hear what the spirit has to say to the churchs....." REV 2:7 |

Details: I have read many books dealing with End-Time Prophecy. This author takes great care in developing an issue, then offering alternate points from other Bible students. He comments on each one with his own interpretation and then provides numbered reasons for his stand. On issues where there remains no clear answer in the Bible, he so states that position along with his opinion. I enjoyed this easy-to-read book. |
