Details: I got this book because I absolutely adore Marine Biology. I have no taken a class yet, but plan to. This text book is extremely informative on it's own, and it has a neat website you can go to for chapter quizzes, articles that relate to each chapter, flash cards, and much much more! This text book is great if you're just getting into Marine Biology or you want to further your studies. I recommend this to anyone interested!

Details: This is a very nice book when we marine biologists need a refresher, or as a starting guide to those who wish to become one! I'm a big fan of the 'Chapter Overviews' at the end of each section.
Not sure why it's nearly $100.00 for a paperback book, though. 0.o
