Details: I am a 25+ year guitar player and bought this for my 14 year old daughter who has been playing approx 1 year. I find the tabs to be very accurate. For a guitar player, the complete scores are almost too much information and the font size is small compared to guitar-only tab books, but it is not a major issue. If you want to learn to play Beatles songs, complete with chords, leads and riffs, this is the book to buy. I would have rated it 5 stars had is just been for guitar.

Review Summary: needs a few changes
Date: 2008-12-23
Details: Just received this book as a gift. I put it on my Wish List because I thought it was the same book I saw at the Mirage's gift shop in Las Vegas. They had a nice big (expensive) book with all the Beatle's songs and I thought this was it.
Unfortunately, as soon as I opened this and thumbed through it I realized this was not it. The print is small, and not easy to see if you are holding a guitar. There is also an unusual font used instead of normal fonts that are much easier to read.
For me, I liked the fact that they have the Tabs for both guitars but I would have liked to see what the chords being used at the top are supposed to look like. As a hobbyist player when I discover new chords it would help me to know what fingers go where.
But they do show the Lead guitar bits, which is a plus, however some are absent or incomplete.
The book is also in alphabetical order and not arranged by album or chronological order. That means lots of flipping around through this 1136 page book! Be prepared to buy some of those page marking Post-its to make it easier to find those songs you like.
I don't think its a bad book, but it is more of a reference book and not the best thing for someone who wants to learn each Beatles songs. For that stick to bigger, magazine sized soft back books that are album specific.
Review Summary: Smudged
Date: 2008-11-13
Details: The book is great for people wanting to learn and play Beatles songs which they haven't quite been able to find before. Only problem was when i opened up the book i found a few pages smudged and couldn't replace the item.
Review Summary: About the small print size
Date: 2008-11-06
Details: For those of you complaining about the miniscule print size (and absolutely right to do so - quite ridiculous!), why aren't you simply returning the book for a refund? I did this and was refunded immediately. It's NOT fit for the purpose, so get your money back, then maybe the publishers will listen to the customers a bit more closely.
