Details: My first copy of Marieb's Anatomy and Physiology (4th Edition - 1997) was a gift. Even though I was too young to get into the nitty gritty of physiology at that time, I wore out the chapters on skeletal and muscular anatomy. Since then, this book has been one of my most prized reference texts. I refuse to part with my 4th edition which has served me well for so many years but I finally decided to update and get the 7th edition.
This is a fantastic text. The chapters have been updated to reflect the latest findings (ie: genetics) and the artwork is top-notch. Most importantly, the organization of the information is outstanding, making it very readable and a very reliable quick reference. There is an appropriate level of detail for undergraduate students as well as graduate/professional students. The text would not be overwhelming for a high-school age student if they are very interested in the subject. I have given other A&P texts a thorough review and none stand close to this work. You can expect future editions to continue improving, as Dr. Marieb has shown a real commitment to keeping this the top book on the market. |

Details: I would recommend ordering this book. Why pay nearly as much for a used book when you get if for new for a little bit more. It was a lot cheaper than half.com by e-bay and definately cheaper than purchasing it from the bookstore. It's just what I needed for my freshman course. |

Details: I bought this book for the semester. So far from what I have managed to read for class had been very helpful. It came with an atlas, internt connect, and cd-rom. I thought I was only getting the text. So this would be a great purchase. I enjoy the book so far. |

Details: This product never came. I waited and waited and went to class without it for almost the first two weeks of school praying everyday it would be at my door. i understand that the mail takes time but dang. That just stunk. |
