Description: This book explores modern Islamic terrorism in the context of globalization and cultural evolution. 21st century terrorism is different and new, first because it relies heavily on electronic communication systems and other aspects of modern technologies, and second, because it is in large part a product of fractured globalization, with its associated threats to the collective identity of Muslims. Part one of this work contrasts globalization as an ideal with globalization as it is actually taking place, with its enormous contradictions and threats. Moghaddam, a longtime and highly respected terrorism and conflict researcher, argues that globalization is resulting in serious threats to the basic psychological needs of some, particularly in connection with collective identity. Part two explores how globalization has brought sudden contact between different groups with no previous history of large-scale contact, resulting in a rapid decline in diversity. Terrorism is one of the dysfunctional defense mechanisms of people in such conditions, facing external threats. Part three describes long-term solutions, focusing particularly on the role of women and the nature of the family in traditional Islamic societies. Moghaddam shows us why globalization is resulting in what he calls "catastrophic evolution," the rapid decline and disappearance of minority cultures and languages, and why that brings a clash of ideologies and the rise of extremism. There are also other dangerous trends, and those call for inspired solutions, springing from an understanding that traditional conflict-resolution, evolved in the shadow of the Cold War, is no longer effective and needs to change.

Description: Holy War: The Blood of Abraham is a book about the origins of Islamic terrorism.

It addresses two of the most important questions facing the world today:

What is the role of the religions of Abraham in present world conflict?
Is only Islam to blame, or also Judaism and Christianity?

It exposes the underlying flaws that are built into each of these three religious belief systems and, although it leaves it to the reader to decide, argues that culpability for Islamic terrorism lies not only with the failures of Islam, but also with the failures of Judaism and Christianity.

It is a book that calls on its readers; Christians, Jews and Muslims, and all others, to look within themselves in search for answers to the most important questions facing our world today.

Description: Using case study after case study of Independent Fundamental Baptist pastors accused, indicted, or convicted of child molesting, the author shows that these men continue to serve in the ministry unhindered. With surprising quotes from public leaders of Christian Fundamentalism such as the late Jerry Falwell, the author shows that many ultra-conservative Baptist churches grant their pastors total immunity and blame and isolate their victims instead. In easy to understand language, Massi explains the theology of American Christian Fundamentalism and shows how it has departed radically from historic Christian belief into a gender-based, externalized pietism that evaluates spiritual success in terms of numbers and political power. She paints a frightening picture of a religion gone horribly wrong, in which child molesters can easily pick up the lingo, amass a following, and hold themselves above accountability by merging into a system that refuses to police itself or institute rules of behavior for its clergy.

Description: What happens when Catholics die? On a broader scale, what happens when anybody dies outside of the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ?

Author Richard Noll has done well to explain specifically what happens to those who have been indoctrinated by the Sacred Tradition of the Roman Catholic Church and the dangers that follow when Tradition is placed in supremacy over the authority of the Bible.

The contents of this book differ from that of today's mainstream apologetics in that this is a first-hand account of a man who has studied these issues during his 64 years as a Catholic. Not only is When Catholics Die a conglomeration of experience, knowledge and research, it also exemplifies the power of God in the conversion of a man who was zealous for what he thought was truth.

Documented in this book, you will find controversial subjects that stem from bad hermeneutics and carelessly interpreted passages, which have separated Catholics and Protestants, and which give unquestionable validity to the Luther-led Reformation several hundred years ago.

Age-old teachings regarding purgatory and papal infallibility are exposed, explained, and proven beyond a shadow of a doubt to be lacking in light of what the Bible says.

To further prove the error of Rome's claims, Richard Noll has gone straight to the source, The Catechism of the Catholic Church, to disprove the claims of Sacred Tradition and how blatantly contradicting they are to the Word of God.

You can't make the distinction between what is real and what is counterfeit unless you know what "real" is. God does not lie, therefore the Bible is truth. You will find as you read When Catholics Die, that in comparing the Bible with Sacred Tradition, the tradition of the Church of Rome compromises the Truth, falls dangerously short of the Truth, and as a result has, and continues to lead millions of souls into darkness!
