Review Summary: Disappointment
Date: 2008-11-01
Details: When I bough Plant Anatomy - an applied approach I expected to buy a more dynamic, updated view of plant anatomy within an updated and applied context. Unfortunately, the book is totally descriptive, extremely superficial, practically without real picture of plant tissues and organs, and with more than a few errors. The errors range from outdated plant names to anatomical errors (!) Furthermore, the book has no citations and not a mention on all the genes acting during plant development that are alread known. I should also warn Mac users that the CD that comes with the book is not directely compatible with our computers.
