Description: This is a bold, clear-headed, cutting-edge look at temptation, the ancient art and science of making evil look attractive. In this courageous and thoroughly researched book, the author peels back the veil of marketing-induced deception to reveal exactly how moral confusion has permeated the West since the 1960s. In our lifetime things that were once universally abhorred have been packaged and sold to us by soulless marketers who skillfully played on our values of fairness, generosity and tolerance. Today giant corporations routinely infiltrate young people's social gatherings with undercover "culture spies" in order to develop the data that underlie clever marketing strategies to lead children into ever more debauched forms of "authentic self-expression." Why? To create new markets to increase the bottom line.

Review Summary: Like it or not, it is all true |

Details: I knew when I read this it was true, as it further explained things I questioned growing up. Many condemn the author, I praise him for having the guts to speak the truth. I bought 5 copies, passed them out, got wow reviews and they passed the books on. I felt in my heart that more needed to understand the truth. And when you get done with this book, try 'brotherhood of darkness', an eye opener that explains a lot of what is taking place. |

Review Summary: unconvincing |
Date: 2008-04-25 |
|
| |
Details: gay rights - argues that gay rights movement is psychologically manipulating people into supporting the cause based on quotes from After The Ball and the (unsupported) assumption that the entire movement has read this book and follows its advice
church/state - basically argues that because it sometimes violated in the 18th century, and because some supreme court justices have argued against it, the separation of church and state must therefore not exist
abortion - notes that the founder of NARAL put forth some statistics to the news about abortion that were false, then makes the (unsupported) assumption that all supporters of keeping abortion legal were convinced by this one set of statistics
media - uses one possibly false news story and misrepresents the coverage of two other stories to "prove" that all media is constantly lying to us
schools - argues our education system is bad because some people say so, claims this is intentional, and uses World Net Daily as source for claims of "jihad games" and birth control dispensing in schools
sexual revolution - says sexual freedom is a "myth" simply because Alfred Kinsey's research is inaccurate and he was evil
The book is a collection of non-sequiter arguments, and some which imply that Kupelian can read minds (e.g. "they know this isn't true" or "they only do this to disobey God) |

Review Summary: Lost Memory Recovered |
Date: 2008-03-29 |

|
Details: This is one of those "Ah-Ha!" books. We often ask "How did we get into this mess?" David Kupelian's excellent presentation of the facts on each subject restores our memory in many cases of how things developed into this evil mess we are in. A quote attributed to Edmund Burke, an 18th century philosopher: "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing" can justly be applied in many of these cases. However, many "good people" did willingly participated in the marketing of evil until they saw the end result. If anything is missing, it is a stronger call to arms to right the wrongs that we have allowed to take place. |

Review Summary: "The Marketing of Evil" Turns the Light on in a Dark Room. |

Details: The Marketing of Evil: How Radicals, Elitists, and Pseudo-Experts Sell Us Corruption Disguised As Freedom
David Kupelian is a modern day hero! This well documented resource explains the details of what many of us have suspected- behind the convincing catch-words are dark motives. Altho many have written on this topic, not many have brought the issues to my own doorstep. What I mean is, not many authors dare to call the "good" folks to account. Kupelian reminds me that I'm responsible to live my life with love, honesty, integrity, and courage. He calls us to a high standard and reminds us what the alternative is. I liked the book so well I gave it to one of my high school students who is interested in a career in law and politics. His mother read it before he had a chance! She was also very impressed. I'm recommending it to my other students. |

Review Summary: An Eye-Opening Marvel |
Date: 2008-01-18 |

|
Details: This book should be required reading, even for (maybe even especially for) those skeptical about the direction in which America is headed. Excellently researched, the book touches on a variety of topics that many leaders "tapdance" around; Kupelian addresses them head-on, with always interesting and sometimes shocking details. Without the excellent research, some might be tempted to discredit this book as propoganda from the "Christian right." With the research, however, it's hard to deny that Kupelian knows much of what he speaks, and his tale needs to be heard. If you're a parent, this is a must-read book. |
