Details: The story of Sister Dorothy Stang takes us to a time and place unfamiliar to most of us. The description of life in the Amazon forest in the late 20th century is a stark reminder that there is still much injustice in the world. We owe so much to those, like Sister Dorothy, who take it upon themselves to try to make life better for the oppressed. A heroically beautiful but sad story.
