Details: A perfect blend of mystical inquisition blended with science, an archeological flair and ironic history. You have the gods, the Genesis, the unknown, the extraterrestrials and religion, all parading before your eyes, to assemble, explore and dismiss. A most exciting book. Everything is possible under the tent of Dr. Sitchin! |

Details: Read it with all the Earth Cronicles written by Mr. Sitchin, is one of the best thing Ihave read in my life. For all of us interested in the origen of life and the history of our planet as well as the solar system, it has to much information and all are extremely important, that we have to read it many times. I love it!!!! |

Review Summary: Immortality for all or only for the children of the gods |

Details: Semitic language scholar "places in context the tales of the pre-diluvial Enoch and the post-diluvial prophet Elijah," who were both taken up to 'heaven' without dying, as he states in his 2006 forward of this 1980 classic of alternate ancient history. He also continues to tie in the Mesopotamian king Gilgamesh to his scholarly reading of ancient history, which involves interaction of ancient astronauts from the twelfth solar planet, Nibiru, with emerging Homo Sapiens. He ties the actions of Alexander of Macedon and Gilgamesh to the beliefs of ancient Egyptians Pharoahs who took the stairway of the gods to immortality on the planet Nibiru, which has a vastly longer life-cycle than Earth. His discussion of the search for the true Mt. Sinai, from which God spoke to the Israelites, and of the frauds perpetuated in the story of the Great Pyramid may be more than the casual reader wants to know about these topics. However, the information has held up over time. A valuable addition to the series. Excellent for Bible scholars or teachers/scholars of ancient history. Suggests many plausible answers to vague or confusing translations and myths. |
