Details: Dear Zoo is a delightful little story. The flaps are easy for little fingers to open and also tough enough to withstand a little pulling. My daughter chooses this to read often and doesn't mind at all that she has learned what animals are under the flaps.

Details: Bought for my 15 month old, for a plane trip. He was delighted by each page, the repetitive wording was simple enough for him to enjoy as I read to him. Growled at the lion, laughed at the monkey. With time, the lift-the-flaps have broken in enough for him to open w/o help. Cardboard flaps are fairly sturdy, although will bend and tear if your toddler is enthusiastic about books.
