Details: I had a few problems getting the software to work with XP but it's up and running. For the price the Photo Keychain is okay. I didn't find the picture quality to be very good and I doubt if I will ever use the keychain because of the poor picture quality.
Review Summary: Good Viewer, Terrible Software
Date: 2008-12-31
Details: Unlike other reviewers, I was able to get the software to work on XP with out any problem. But to my surprise the software had a horrible user interface, and even the buttons in the software looked really bad (I couldn't tell what they were at first). As programming is a hobby for me, I can tell you that the software designers put too little effort into the software.
The actual device though, is pretty freakin amazing. I mean there's not much to say for a picture frame on a keychain that's electronic, now is there, but it's extremely easy to use.
Review Summary: Don't Waste Your Time and Money
Date: 2008-12-30
Details: I purchased this as a Christmas present. We tried to load photos using a Mac and an XP PC. We tried all the tricks that other reviewers have tried. Nothing worked. Neither computer system recognized the USB cable. I was fortunate to send it back for a refund. Very disappointing!
Review Summary: Stopped working almost immediately
Date: 2008-12-29
Details: I had no problems uploading pictures to this device. However, the problem is is that it doesn't want to hold a charge. I plug it into the USB port for several hours and then when I try to turn it on again a day or two later it won't turn on and needs to be charged again. The product specifies that the charge should last for 4 hours.
Review Summary: Stopped working after second use
Date: 2008-12-28
Details: Was able to upload pictures and get it working on the first try. However, when I tried to add more pictures to it later, the device failed. The backlight would come on, but the screen was blank, and the computer no longer recognized it properly.
